Hypoxic training is an advanced form of stress training. You
are familiar with other forms of stress training like weight
training. We believe hypoxic training should be treated similarly.
You probably change your weight training programme every 6-8
weeks to provide your athletes with different stresses to
keep them adapting. We believe the same is true with hypoxic
training. In an ideal world combining the different ways of
obtaining the benefits of "alpine air" would be
best in forming an altitude strategy. Each hypoxic modality
works in a slightly different way. Practically however, this
is not always possible
