IHT
works by getting the body to relax the smooth muscles that
surround the air sacks in the lungs and through making the
cellular structure within these fibres more responsive to
glucose and oxygen, so that they function properly again.
This increases lung function.
You will also be re-trained in using the correct areas of
your lung to breathe, enabling greater oxygen uptake.
People who breathe too much tend to use the upper portion
of their lungs and blow off the important carbon dioxide that
is used to release oxygen from the blood.
