The
Hypoxic Workout sessions are of moderate intensity.
The induced hypoxia works the specific muscle groups anaerobically,
replicating a high intensity workout. Your power output during
these sessions will be moderate so you will not get the same
muscle fibre damage as with conventional anaerobic workouts. However, the cardiovascular system, Pulmonary/respiratory system
and Immune system will be receiving a powerful workout as well as challenging your lactate clearing systems.
A Hypoxic workout is a unique training stimulus and can be added to existing training
programmes.
