The
rhythmical and intermittent nature of IHT pulses the body
with hypoxic air. The stimulus is great enough to trigger
deep physiological adaptations but not long enough to bring
on fatigue or the problems associated with high altitude sickness.
For these reasons, IHT can be added to an existing exercise
programme with no drop off in performance.
The IHT sessions are a pleasurable and relaxing experience,
but don’t be fooled this is probably the hardest cellular
workout you will ever have. For this reason we recommend leaving
at least 90 minutes between training sessions and a heavy
meal before completing your IHT sessions.
