Here at The Altitude Centre we take your privacy seriously and will only use your personal information to administer your account and to provide the products and services that you have requested from us.

The Altitude Centre works hard to safeguard your personal information. There is some information in this policy that refers specifically to The Altitude Centre employees, however, prospective employees/employees will need to refer to the full Employee Privacy Policy for specific details in relation to privacy whilst employed by The Altitude Centre.

Who we are:

The Altitude Centre is a provider of simulated altitude training systems for sports teams, individuals, and governing bodies. We also provide training advice to those going to altitude, or to incorporate altitude training as part of an overall fitness routine. The training advice is not a diagnosis or treatment for any disease or illness. We provide training at simulated altitudes of up to 6,500m. The precise level of simulated altitude is always made known to the client before training, either passively or actively, commences. We aim to provide our clients with the best possible service and equipment, from training recommendations to equipment provision, fulfilling our position as the UK’s leading simulated altitude training supplier.

1.1 Compliance with Regulatory Authorities:

We regularly review our compliance with our Privacy Policy. When we receive formal written complaints, we will contact the person who has made the complaint to follow up. We will also work with the appropriate regulatory authorities, including local data protection authorities such as the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) to resolve any complaints regarding the transfer of personal data.

Our legal basis for collecting and processing this information is our legitimate interests in understanding more about our clients in order to provide the best possible service, or it is necessary to fulfil the service that you have purchased from The Altitude Centre Ltd or because the processing of your data is necessary for a contract we have with you. All sensitive data is only accessible by you and The Altitude Centre Ltd trained staff. Profile information is ‘active’ for 24 months after your last visit, and is automatically ‘deactivated’ after this point.

Through your use of our services, we may also collect information from you about someone else, such as friend referrals. If you provide The Altitude Centre Ltd with personal information about someone else, you must ensure that you are authorised to disclose that information to The Altitude Centre Ltd and that, without The Altitude Centre Ltd taking any further steps required by applicable data protection or privacy law, The Altitude Centre Ltd may collect, use and disclose such information for the purposes described in this Policy.

We keep your information online. The Altitude Centre Ltd is a Data Controller for the MindBody booking system; provided by our third party processor (MindBody). This system holds personal data of all clients that register with The Altitude Centre Ltd.

There are a number of reasons why we may share your information. This can be due to:

• Our obligations to comply with current legislation
• Our duty to comply with a Court Order

The Altitude Centre will not sell your information to any third party organisation. We will also not share your information with any third party except as stated in this Privacy Policy or as required to provide our service to you or to fulfil our contract with you.
