Altitude training is a form of adaptive medicine that works by improving your oxygen efficiency. This is scientifically proven to assist with a variety of conditions as well as helping you to lose weight, improve general wellbeing and skin rejuvenation. During your consultation, we’ll take you through a number of basic health checks and low intensity exercises at sea level and altitude, culminating in a full results report and recommendations to improve your health and wellbeing.
Option 2 – Exercise Sessions: from £20
Hypoxic exercise sessions boost metabolism and aid the adaptive process. Hypoxic exercise sessions can be added to your weekly schedule as part of a healthy lifestyle: And the more you do, the better you get.

These individual sessions let you go at your own pace, to work towards your goals at your own speed, with our expert trainers on hand if you need any assistance
Class Cycle or Run Sessions
If you enjoy exercise classes, then be mentally prepared for a short, intense session.
Add a Personal Trainer
Our expert trainers can assist you through your workout, adding extra exercises to build upon your core altitude acclimatisation
Option 3 – IHE Sessions: from £20
These sessions utilise the IHE protocol. IHE stands for Intermittent Hypoxic Exposure, a technique of breathing short bursts of mountain air (up to 6,500m) through a mask, alternated with normal air. IHE is the quickest way to adapt to low oxygen. What's more, no exercise is required!
The pre acclimatisation sessions kick start the adaptive process to enable you to cope with low oxygen and to be more efficient with the available air, the main adaptation is at a cellular level with improved mitochondrial function.
A 10 session package is our strong recommendation for a minimum amount of sessions ahead of trips to altitude or to help you achieve your health and sporting goals.
Option 4 - Rent a system for home use: From £225 per month
Rent a machine from The Altitude Centre and you can experience the benefits of altitude training up to 6,500m from the comfort of your own home.
Options available are either IHE (intermittent hypoxic exposure) , exercise or sleep formats. Full training and advice is provided. You can also combine the three different training formats below from the one machine.
