Testing your VO2max is the ultimate test of aerobic capacity for performance, and allows you to train smarter, setting effective training zones to work to, and tracking your performance on the bike, treadmill or rowing machine over time.
During the test, exercise intensity is gradually ramped up to maximum, at which point your VO2max is measured. Along the way, we continuously analyse the air you are breathing in and out to accurately determine important metabolic thresholds, fuel use, and exercise economy.
Whether you are training for a marathon, sportive, or mountains, understanding your lactate threshold is a powerful tool for progression.
