With marathon season fast approaching, it’s that time of year again!
Every year, we provide a limited number of runners the opportunity to join our altitude training camp in the build up to their spring marathon / event, to give their training an extra boost, and take their performance to new heights.
What does the camp involve?
For the successful applicants, you will receive two months of unlimited access to The Altitude Centre, allowing you to complete training sessions at 2700m above sea level in our altitude chamber. You’ll also have members only access to the S&C area to complete your strength sessions, as well as use of the MetraFit POD for those rest and recovery days, as well as your taper.
Not enough for you? We’ll also be including a pre-training, and post-training VO2 max test to track your altitude gains and show you exactly what can be done with 8-weeks of altitude training.
What does the camp cost?
We offer the camp at a 50% discount, and you can sign up for £200/month for two months, which includes all of the above, and everything you need as a runner to smash your training block.
What can I expect to see?
Altitude training is an exceptionally powerful tool when it comes to endurance performance, whether an elite runner, or a first time marathoner. Previous camps have seen up to 10% performance improvements across a range of runners, and we can expect to see similar improvements across this time frame.
How do I sign up?
We only have a limited number of spaces available, but you can register online below. We’ll be randomly selecting applicants to take part, so don’t miss out if you’re thinking about smashing your PB, or taking those next steps to getting marathon ready for the first time.
