The Science & Application of Altitude Training

23rd Jun 2021

We are pleased to announce the dates of our educational course, The Science & Application of Altitude Training, for 2021-22. New for this year, the webinar is BASES endorsed, with CPD points available to attendees.

When?

The course will run on the following dates:

  • Thursday 13th January 2022; 2-4pm
  • Thursday 24th march 2022; 2-4pm

All courses have recordings available for those that sign up. If you aren’t able to attend the course live, you will have seven days to watch back the seminar, and also a chance to follow up with James if you have any questions.

What?

In the science and application of altitude training seminar, Lead Performance Specialist James will guide your understanding of, and ability to use hypoxic training methods with their athletes. The seminar explains the underlying theory of hypoxia and various hypoxic training methods, and translates the theory into practice, exploring applications including in endurance, team, racket and combat sports, as well as injury rehabilitation, load management, body composition and acclimatisation. The webinar will draw not only on the scientific literature, but applied case studies conducted by The Altitude Centre and our partners to bring the latest on applied practice.
